On a recent trip to Perth Bull Sales in October 2006 while visiting the farm of Robert Galloway – the Cardona Aberdeen Angus Herd – we were attracted to a magnificent Aberdeen Angus Bull being prepared for the February 2007 sales in Perth.
After looking up his pedigree we just had to buy him and Robert obviously sensed that, and put a price tag of £10,000 sterling on him.
He gave us a few days to think about it, but the more we researched the breeding there was only one home for “Black Star” and that was Moydrum Castle Pedigree Herds.
We expect great things from this bull and hopefully his outstanding blood lines will do wonders for our Irish Angus Herd.
